| Gossip Girl Best TV Drama |
The People's Choice Award 2011 has nominated Gossip Girl for best TV drama. According to People's Choice Award (which is a very prestigious award giving body I might say), Gossip Girl has not only been among the many most watched TV shows on the tube but exemplifies great values and lessons with each episode aired on TV. The show talks about real people and real life. There's nothing more real than the issues people go through everyday and Gossip Girl was able to bring this issue to light. Congratulations to the cast and crew of Gossip Girl!

And since we are talking about The People's Choice Award, Chace Crawford and Blake Lively were both nominated for Best TV Actor and Best TV Actress respectively. Again, according to People's Choice Award, both their characters Serena van der Woodsen and Nate Archibald were amongst the most influential characters ever seen on primetime TV. Their acting is simply tremendous and captivating that people were able to relate to them easily as compared to other actors and actresses on TV. Wow, it does seem like all praises go to the cast and the crew of Gossip Girl!
I personally didn't see this coming- and I'm sure most of you haven't either. People's Choice Award has spoken. Oh wait, where's Glee? I don't see them getting nominated by any prestigious award giving body. This must definitely mean something- Glee is still a loser while Gossip Girl heads on high to greater grounds! Move over Glee- Gossip Girl has just kicked your sorry ass.
And while we are talking about success, what could be more successful than being setting a trend on the fashion runway? Gossip Girl's 8th episode entitled "Juliet Doesn't Live Here Anymore" has sparked fashion runways all over the globe! I won't give you all the deets but as it appears, the gowns that Blair, Serena, Juliet & Vanessa used on this episode has made a tremendous impact with global fashion icons everywhere!

We’ve already seen pictures of Leighton Meester in Ralph Lauren with a Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin heels. Blake Lively in Zuhair Murad with a Halston clutch. The additional pictures are of Katie Cassidy wearing a stunning blue pleated J. Mendel Spring 2010 gown with nude cap sleeves. Her look is paired with a stunning Ranjana Khan necklace and Carlos Falchi clutch.We’ve seen this gown worn by Tatiana Blatnik and Vera Farmiga before. Not to be outnumbered, the equally beautiful Jessica Szohr wore a printed Christian Cota Spring 2010 gown with a ruffled neckline. Her gown was paired with a tan Lauren Merkin clutch. .
