50 Questions

One of my friends wanted to interview me for an article he's working on at a local newspaper's society page. These are the exact same questions he asked me and these are the exact same answers I gave him. Funny though; he's not on Facebook.


1. What time did you get up this morning?
I haven't slept last night; in fact, I haven't been sleeping over the past 3days. So many events to attend, so little time.

2. How do you like your steak?
Well done. I hate anything that's "half-baked".

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
Harry Potter 7- and yes I watched part 1 and 2 already. I have access, what can I say? I'm Chuck Bass!

4. What is your favorite TV show?
Gossip Girl (But then everybody already knows that)

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
I want to go back to Manhattan, NY. The fashion capital of the world.

6. What did you have for breakfast?
Nothing. I don't eat breakfast

7. What is your favorite cuisine?
Italian cuisine

8. What foods do you dislike?
Mainly vegetables or anything green and mossy. How could you even eat anything that looks like a root bag???

9. Favorite Place to Eat?
Socialista and Bizou. That's where we A-Listers hang out.

10. Favorite dressing?
Manhattan dressing

11. What kind of vehicle do you drive?
Audi A8 (but don't tell anybody that)

12. What are your favorite clothes?
Branded and Smart casual. I hate being into anything that restricts my blood circulation. I love wearing clothes that allows me to move any way I want without loosing style.

13. Where would you visit, if you had the chance?
Manhattan, NY; Paris, France- oh and if there's still time I'd love to visit Las Vegas, NV and Hollywood, CA

1/2 Full

15. Where would you want to retire?
I'm way too young to think about retirement now; but I'd love to settle in somewhere where fashion isn't too ephemeral

16. Favorite time of day?
Night time, because then I can go out and have fun

17. Where were you born?
In a hospital no doubt. What's with these silly questions? Did you hit your head or something???

18. What is your favorite sport to watch?
Wrestling. I like it when people start hitting each other and banging their heads on stuff. Chair shot!!!

19. Who do you think will not tag you back?
I don't know and I don't really care. Why is that important?

20. Person you expect to tag you back first?
Sheesh- I wouldn't know. Anybody is free to tag; last time I checked, its a free country!

21. Who are you most curious about their responses to this?
Okay, why are we going through this again?

22. Bird watcher?
Depends on what kind of bird :-)

23. Are you a morning person or a night person?
I'm totally a night person (as if you can't tell). I hate mornings! Waking up early, greeting people with a smile, cheery sunshine. I love to keep pace with my sleep and after a hard night of partying I prefer to spend the rest of the day cooped up in bed and sleeping.

24. Do you have any pets?
Yes. I'm a dog lover. I have 5- Paris, Kendra, Dylan, West, and Lestat

25. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share?
No. But i know some gossip that's gonna knock your shoes off. Wanna hear them? =p

26. What did you want to be when you were little?
According to my mom "A Hero" because I was so in to superheroes. I thought I'd be the next Batman; but Dick Grayson already holds that mantle after Bruce Wayne died. So much for my childhood dreams...

27. What is your best childhood memory?
A lot. I led a pretty nice sheltered childhood life. Although, 1 always comes to mind- shopping with my family. Even back then I was a shopaholic.

28. Are you a cat or dog person?
I'm a dog person. I have 5 dogs remember? If I were a cat person I would have had 5 cats instead of 5 dogs! Are these questions really well thought of?

29. Are you married?
No and I don't have plans to be. I like living the life of a bachelor. Marriage only restricts your social life.

30. Always wear your seat belt?
Yup. Why? What's that got to do anything with all these questions you've been bombarding me with?

31. Been in a car accident?
Yes.Too bad some people say I'm still alive =p

32. Any pet peeves?
Plenty. This whole page wouldn't be enough to cover them all.

33. Favorite Pizza Toppings?
I like all toppings that comes with pizza. Besides, I don't have the time to sort out all the toppings on my pizza once it's served. All I can do is eat it- so why waste time choosing your favorite toppings? Seriously- are this questions well thought of???

34. Favorite Flower?
I hate flowers! Too..... cheeesy! Blech!

35. Favorite ice cream?
Anything that has chocolate on it! I'm a chocoholic. I despise all other flavors of ice cream. I eat only chocolate!!!

36. Favorite fast food restaurant?
Chick-Fil-A; the one in Atlanta, GA. Nobody does chicken better than Chick-Fil-A

38. From whom did you get your last email?
From the readers of my blog commenting me of how much they admire me as a writer.

39. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
7 Jeans For All Mankind. I love their jeans there. I wouldn't pass up maximizing my card at Hermes, Salvatorre Ferragamo and Christian Lacroix either.

40. Do anything spontaneous lately?
A lot! It's like over the past few days I've been doing nothing but do things spontaneously. I'm a planner. I love to plan and organize things- but when top comes out of the bottom I have no choice but to do things at the spur of the moment. I'm flexible that way; and I like it.

41. Like your job?
I have the best job ever! Being a socialite is a party job. Classy, stylish and fun. Best of all, you get paid just to drink, socialize and attend parties and events!

42. Broccoli?
I freakin' hate it! How many times do i have to answer the same question over and over again? I told you before- I hate vegetables!

43. What was your favorite vacation?
Anywhere but here. That's the point of having a vacation- getting away from where you are right now- especially if you're not enjoying it.

44. Last person you went out to dinner with?
Some upper class socialites at an event I attended.

45. What are you listening to right now?
Everytime you walk away by Lincoln Hawk

46. What is your favorite color?
Black. It's the most basic color in the fashion runway. When you wear black, you can walk off the catwalk anyway you like anytime you want!

47. How many tattoos do you have?
3 and nobody has ever seen them yet. Use your imagination.

None. Let them read it and tag themselves if they want. I'm too lazy to be bothered doing that. Answering 50 questions is work enough for me.

By the time anybody reads this the time would have been different so does this question really matter???

A New Era For WW Has Come...

I was just browsing through the net when I saw some articles relating to Wonder Woman. It appears that DC Comics and J. Michael Straczynski has tied up some ridiculous story that has changed Wonder Woman! After doing some extensive research, I found out that not only has JMS revamped Wonder Woman's story- he has also changed her costume and altered her origins! Are these people insane???

The New (Improved???) Wonder Woman

I have been an avid fan of the Amazon Princess since I was a kid. Wonder Woman has been a staple image in the world of cartoons and comic books. Created by William Moulton Marston way back in 1941, Wonder Woman has been by far the most popular female super hero the world has ever known. Joining the ranks of equally iconic heroes like Superman & Batman, Wonder Woman has forged an identity of her own beginning from her origins to her storyline and through her costume. The world has known Wonder Woman's costume all these years and has become familiar with it. Why the sudden change? She's been locked into pretty much the exact same outfit since her debut in 1941 and people have come to know her in it. This sudden change is not going to be well accepted by fans- and down right so will I!

Wonder Woman Through The Years

I don't mind seeing some changes in her costume. All throughout the years, Wonder Woman has undergone some minor but detailed costume changes. From the red sandals and skirt to the high cut red boots with white lining and shorts. Her bracelets also made some serious redefining- from short and blue to long and silver. Even her logo and tiara has undergone changes; the eagle is gone and in place is a gold WW breastplate. Her tiara has gone from triangular to diamond. But despite these changes, Wonder Woman has remained true to her origins and look. People were able to easily accept the changes due to it's modern day improvement.

But this new look that JMS and DC Comics have agreed upon is way too drastic- too modern for the fan's taste. It almost seem like it's not Wonder Woman at all! Gone is her iconic uniform that has been known all over the world and in replace is some modern day tights that barely sets her apart from a common hero in a movie version. Her bracelets are good redefinition but still not acceptable. Looking at Diana in this costume made me think they might as well have changed her entirely from Diana to a totally new person! I don't know who the hell is in that costume but I know that it's not Wonder Woman!

From Old To New Wonder Woman

There was this one time that they have attempted to change Wonder Woman's costume- back in the time when another amazon replaced her (Artemis) as Wonder Woman. That costume change didn't go so well. Fans hated it and after 10 issues, they killed off Artemis and placed Diana back to the mantle of Wonder Woman. This new change isn't going to be any better. I could almost see it now- fans were enraged with this sudden movement!

I got word from one article on the net (http://www.comicbookmovie.com/news/?a=19572) that this change is because of the upcoming Wonder Woman movie that Josh Wheddon was trying to launch into production. That movie idea has been ongoing for years now- 10 years to be exact! Last I heard, the main reason they can't start filming is because they can't find a new face that will fit Wonder Woman as we have come to know her. They are desperately trying to find someone who would resemble Lynda Carter from her TV adaptation in 1978. If their only problem was the face- why change the whole costume? 

According to an interview with Jim Lee, they have decided that it's time to give Wonder Woman a new look to fit modern times. "Visually, the character seems edgier than before but stylish enough to warrant a second, albeit cautious, glance," Lee wrote on DC’s blog. "The jacket and boots confirm the costume’s functionality and the open, thinner tiara and shaped bracelets reveal a lighter, even youthful, bent to the Amazonian Princess." says Lee. Wrong move! This is not what the fans are looking for!

Wonder Woman In Her New Costume

I sure hope that it's not too late to change Diana back to her original costume. The comic book change has been running for 7 issues now (until February 2011). I'm counting 10 issues all in all and the change should take place. In my opinion (and in most fan's opinion as well judging by all the nasty comments they left on several blogs) Wonder Woman is an icon; like Superman and Batman. you can't change her costume just like you can't change Superman or Batman's no matter what. Changing their costumes is like totally changing who they are. These heroes are timeless- there's no need for them to adapt to modern day changes. They have been globally known for the costumes they wear. That's their identity. Changing their looks will destroy these heroes careers. 

I vote to change Wonder Woman back to her old costume. What is yours?
